Our media strives to build a better tomorrow. That means reimagining how characters and their stories are portrayed in film and television. It means being good to one another behind the scenes. And it means finding tales to tell that bring truth and meaning into the world.
Normal isn’t a standard that happens by accident. Its very definition is constantly evolving in response to the selective pressures of cultural influence. Toward that end, we develop innovative content that helps us defy expectations about ourselves and the world around us. But that's not all we do - check out our showreel for a sample of our work. We hope you’ll join us for your next project.

This quest has taken her to writing and producing The Switch, the world’s first transgender sitcom. Amy’s stellar track record of delivering film after film on-budget combined with a profound understanding of story and narrative structure makes her an asset to every production.

Our original work strives to realize a better world. That means challenging expectations about how humanity and our problems are portrayed onscreen.
Rooted firmly in indie film, we engage underrepresented communities and bridge gaps in the media landscape. We've learned how to shoot big projects on tiny budgets, punching far out of our weight-class and exceeding expectations. We've redefined what stories and scales are considered possible and re-evaluated every aspect of content creation and delivery to minimize effort and maximize impact overall.
Talk to us about how to take advantage of BC and Canada's generous tax credit system. We'd love to work with you!
Both Canada and BC offer tax credits to international and domestic productions. These refund a portion of labour after production completes. Productions can pre-finance this to increase their budget.
With financing, domestic tax credits can easily cover 32.85% to 42.28% of total costs with an additional 8.93% on most post services, with additional subsidies for hiring students. Smart accounting can maximize these credits, boosting production quality to otherwise unreachable heights.
We provide turn-key production services for feature film and television projects and deliver top-quality content to producers on-schedule and on-budget.
Vancouver has had a large film industry for two decades. Now it's booming with record numbers of major motion pictures underway and several new studios in construction. Most dollars flow from larger American productions, such as Deadpool, The X-Files, Once Upon a Time and Netflix's Altered Carbon, among many others
Vancouver is Western Canada's hub for creative talent and technical crew eager to prove themselves on mid-scale projects. Trembling Void's networking can reliably source this rising talent for key roles delivering high-quality work at affordable rates.
